The founder of our company took notice nearly 12 years ago that colouring hair was becoming the single most effective way for people to express their individuality. A "colour focused" concept salon was then conceived and the first Colour Room® opened its doors in 1996. In 2002, we opened our second salon.

Why should we be "colour-focused"? As artists, we understand the importance of creative self-expression. We constantly work toward providing what we believe to be the best in hair colouring services; a fact that supports our ongoing reputation for delivering great service and a unique salon experience.

We are a full service hair salon for men and women. We specialize in colour correction. We also cut hair and certain stylists on our staff have been method trained at Vidal Sassoon. Our pricing varies depending on the ranking of the stylist with the salon; our tiered price menu reflects those areas of expertise. The menu on our site is only a partial list of services that we provide. Prices for colour services are only an estimate, subject to consultation and final approval of the client. We do not have special pricing for children. In addition, we are currently launching nail services in our salon. Updos for prom, special events and weddings are time dependant and in special circumstances, require a 50% non-refundable deposit of the estimated cost for the service at the time the service is booked. On-location services will include fees for travel and time away from the salon.

Our world is ever changing and we endeavor to change right along with it. That means providing options to our clients at every level of convenience. Our team-oriented salon makes it easy to accommodate clients whose schedule does not permit booking in advance. It’s easy – when calling the salon to book your appointment, our staff in reservations will make you aware of your options and align you with the best professional we have for the service you need. Each of our staff members has been systematically trained to re-create your prior service and will access our formula archive thus insuring you the same perfect hair colour service every time! Can you still request a favorite stylist? Absolutely! But if they are not available at the time most convenient for you, we may actually encourage you to try a different stylist. Each one may vary styles a bit but they are all good and concerned that your needs come first.

Our main professional hair colour line is Redken. However, its important to know that our product expertise doesn’t stop there; we utilize 5 different lines of hair colour at Colour Room®. That way, we can accommodate every possible hair colour requirement. All our products are chosen for their specific positive end result and are up-to-the-minute in quality so the condition of your hair need not be compromised during your colour process. Our retail lines include the new 'Serie Expert' from L’oréal, and the revolutionary Moroccan Oil line of products.
